Brown 60th Wedding Anniversary | Grinter Farms | Leibfarth Photography
This one is a personal post for me! My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past weekend and I am just about the luckiest photographer/granddaughter in the world because I was able to capture some portraits for them at Grinter Farms GORGEOUS sunflower field. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Kansas my whole life and never been to a sunflower field before. It is a must see, so incredibly beautiful and I am thankful that they share it with the public. These pictures honestly make me a little teary eyed, their love for each other is still so evident after 60 years of marriage. It was so fun to see them laugh and enjoy this moment together. After their session I had to wait an entire week (Yes, 7 whole days) before I could share the pictures! Our family all gathered together and presented them with some gorgeous metal prints at their anniversary dinner. It was so nice to have all of us together to celebrate these two amazing people and the life they have created and shared together. They are such good role models for all of us – not only in their relationship with each other but as strong and positive individuals. They told us at dinner that they have had a lot of sad times, a lot of glad times, and made it through so much and were so thankful for all of us. I can only imagine the memories that they share, the success they have celebrated, the hard times they have fought through together, and the love that has only grown stronger with time.
Grandma & Grandpa you are so very loved by all of us and I hope you treasure these pictures, I know your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will!
Here are some photos from our trip to Grinter Farms and a picture of our family together to celebrate! :)
