I am so excited to share Kayla & Brock's engagement session! We struggled with the crazy Kansas wind the entire time but these two stayed patient with me and we were able to get some amazing shots. We started out at K-State University Gardens and so many of my favorites from this location were while I was doing test shots and these two were just being themselves - they held each other and danced together without any direction from me and it was perfect. After that we got to go to Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium and took pictures on the 50 yard line. This was my first time at the stadium and it was an amazing experience! Not only was it awesome to be there but we had perfect light and these two rocked it in every image! For sunset photos we headed to Washington Marlatt Memorial Park and ended the day with some gorgeous golden light.
These two spent many years with the same friends and in the same places but had never met, then last year their paths finally crossed and they have been together ever since. Timing is so important and Kayla and Brock clearly met at this point in their lives for a reason. I'm so excited they chose me to capture this special time in their lives. Can't wait for the big day!
